Cancellation and Refund Policy

Effective Date: 10 April 2025

At EZ Drive Rentals, we understand that travel plans may change. Our Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for canceling vehicle rental bookings.


1. Standard Cancellation Terms

  • Free Cancellation:
    Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund.

  • Late Cancellations (Within 48 Hours):
    If you cancel within 48 hours of the pickup time, a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the total booking amount may be charged.

  • Same-Day Cancellations / No-Shows:
    If you cancel on the day of pickup or fail to show up, no refund will be provided. The full rental amount will be charged.


2. Cancellation Process

To cancel your reservation:

  • Call us at (866) 283-9017

  • Or email us at support@ezdriverentalsllc.com with your booking details

  • Please mention your booking reference number for quick processing

Your cancellation is confirmed only after receiving a written acknowledgment from EZ Drive Rentals.


3. Refund Timeline

  • Eligible refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.

  • Processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.


4. Modifications Instead of Cancellation

We allow one-time modification (date/time change) free of charge if requested at least 48 hours in advance. Subject to availability.


5. Special Offers & Non-Refundable Bookings

Certain promotional rates or discounted bookings may be non-refundable or have specific cancellation terms. These will be clearly stated at the time of booking.


6. Company-Initiated Cancellations

In rare cases, EZ Drive Rentals may cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances (vehicle breakdown, overbooking, etc.). In such cases:

  • You will receive a full refund, or

  • We may offer an alternative vehicle or rescheduling option (based on availability)

Role of EZDRIVE RENTALS

  • We assist in facilitating rental bookings but do not own, operate, or control any rental services.

  • Each of our partner rental companies maintains its own cancellation and refund policies.

  • EZDRIVE RENTALS does not process any customer payments or hold funds at any stage.

Cancellations

  • How to Cancel: To cancel or modify your booking, please contact the rental partner from which your booking was secured. Contact information should be available in your booking confirmation.

  • Notification to EZDRIVE RENTALS: While you may inform us of your intent to cancel, actual cancellations must be processed by the rental partner directly. We can assist in connecting you with the appropriate partner.

Refunds

  • Refund Eligibility: All refunds (if any) are subject to the specific refund policy of the rental partner you booked with.

  • Processing: As EZDRIVE RENTALS does not collect or handle customer payments, we do not process any refunds. Refunds, if approved, will be issued by the rental company as per their policy and timeline.

  • Our Assistance: If you need guidance or experience difficulties in obtaining a refund, we are available to support you in communicating with the rental partner.

Partner Policies

  • Please review the partner’s cancellation and refund policy at the time of booking, as eligibility, applicable fees, timeframes, and the refund process may vary by company and rental type.

  • Rental partners may charge a cancellation fee, offer partial or full refunds, or enforce non-refundable bookings, depending on their individual terms.

Limitation of Responsibility

  • EZDRIVE RENTALS is not responsible or liable for any denial of refund, delay in refund, or policy enforcement by our rental partners.

  • Any disputes regarding cancellations or refunds must be addressed directly with the rental partner.
